Unified Communications meets the Internet of Things (IoT)

Lena-Alice Nörthemann, Markus Reich, Till Maass
Forecasts indicate that the number of connected devices in networks will exceed the 20 billion mark over the next two years. This presents the business world with one of the greatest challenges of all time. Real-time communication meets the Internet of Things (IoT). Service Plaza – the customer interface for Damovo Managed Services

Sybille Moll, Markus Thelen, Klemens Görgen
Traditionally our services are managed by using several applications like Omnitracker, SAP, Excel sheets, port count out of PBX etc. Damovo services will transform for tomorrow. All relevant business processes will be initiated and mapped via the Service Plaza as a single platform - incidents, orders, standard changes, automated configurations, CMDB, billing, reporting and document storage. Is this “all singing – all dancing” (“eierlegende Wollmilchsau” ) or a real Damovo solution? We will show you!

SD-WAN – What is it, and why your customer will use it one day?

Sonja Berghman, Eric Wlodawer, Thomas Wittke
With the explosive growth in real-time applications, distributed workforces and cloud computing, a company's productivity and customer responsiveness have never been more dependent on network infrastructure. During this business session we will reveal the power of SD-WAN.

Business Sessions Part 2
starting 12:25

Acceptance management: not sufficient – but necessary

Andreas Tschepe, Daniela Dilger, Mira Achenbach

Over 70% of all change initiatives including the introduction of new UCC & CC platforms fail because implementation focuses exclusively on hard factors such as budget, timeframe and acceptance of technical features. Soft factors around the employees involved are often forgotten about – or pushed into the background. In this business session we will show you how acceptance management can provide you and your customers with added value in projects – highlighting two acceptance management modules.

DNA Center

Edgar Reinke, Stefan Diercks

In 2017 Cisco has announced that they are reinventing the network. This announcement has been guided by the slogan THE NETWORK.INTUITIVE. This first step into the Intent-based Networking market is based on the Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA), the foundation of a less complex network and has been supported by offers like DNA Center, SD-Access, Catalyst 9K, ETA, NDP & Assurance and DNA Services.

In 2018 Cisco has transformed their Intent-based Networking System (IBNS) into a fully open platform by adding a new Developer Platform and open APIs into DNA Center. This extends their Intent-Based Networking strategy and this is Cisco´s biggest move yet into an open, Software-based, programmable infrastructure.

But what does IBNS really mean and why it is important for us to understand that this transformation will become the game changer in how we have to build and operate our customers networks? Our customers are on their way (transformation) to a digital business and that is why there is a need for us to understand the requirements and to provide the right solutions. At last that means that we have to decide how we can start our own IBNS journey.

Security by Design, Sales and Solution
