Damovo appoints new sales Director to drive growth in Belgium

Damovo, a leading provider of ICT managed services and solutions has announced the appointment of Wim Lespoix as Sales Director Belgium. Wim will be responsible for driving sales and business development across Belgium after the company recently acquired the UCC sales and operations activities of ATOS (Unify) for mid and high end customers in Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden and Finland.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT and telecoms sector, Wim brings a wealth of sales, service and operational knowledge. He has held several senior management positions – including Director of Vendor Management Security (EMEA) in Westcon, and Country Director Belgium at NextiraOne.

Wim said “These are really exciting times for Damovo, who already has a strong business in Belgium. The Unify acquisition further opens up a new world of opportunities in terms of both our UCC footprint, and our extended customer base, whilst also further complementing the existing UCC knowledge and skillsets. I look forward to working with our customers to identify how technology can help them to innovate and compete in today’s digital world where companies are facing more challenges than ever.”

Continuous growth

Gijs Borsboom, Managing Director Northern Europe, comments: “Wim brings vast levels of knowledge and expertise to Damovo. I am confident that he will play a major part in both securing our current market position with the alignment of the two sales organisations, and also driving further revenue growth through new opportunities.”
