Damovo appoints new leadership team to drive further growth across Benelux

Highly experienced Managing Director and Finance Director to build upon current success in the ICT sector

Zaventem, 14 February 2017 – Damovo, a leading enterprise communications solutions and services provider, has announced the appointment of Lionel Reina as Managing Director Benelux. Lionel replaces former Managing Director Joop Jansen who has decided to leave the company in order to pursue new opportunities.

Michel Magonette also joins the leadership team in the role of Finance Director. Both appointments will further strengthen Damovo’s ambitious growth plans across Benelux.

Lionel Reina has over 25 years senior management experience in the IT and Telecoms sector, including Middle East Director in the Gulf region for Accenture. Prior to this he held several positions at Orange Business Services, including Managing Director of Operations in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, and also VP of Sales for Western Europe.

Before joining Damovo, Michel Magonette worked at Avnet, one of the world’s largest global distributors of electronic components and computer products. At Avnet he held several senior management positions, including Director in Finance for EMEA.

Growth ambitions

According to Glen Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Damovo Group, both appointments are an important next step in Damovo’s growth strategy: “We already have a strong business in Benelux with many customers across the public and private sector.
