Düsseldorf, 15 May 2025 – International ICT service provider Damovo has established a dedicated innovation team named TRACES (Transformational Research into AI, Communications, Enterprise Networks & Security). As a strategic driver, the team actively promotes the development of forward-looking technologies in the fields of AI, communications, and security. Acting as an innovation catalyst, TRACES consolidates Damovo’s in-house expertise to actively shape these future topics and technologies. The goal is to expand the solutions portfolio and support companies worldwide in successfully navigating an increasingly complex digital landscape.
The team is led by Stefan Ilchmann, Head of Enterprise Networking at Damovo and Field CTO within TRACES.

The competency unit focuses on the demand-oriented advancement of intelligent, managed IT services to optimise customers’ overall IT operations. For example, the team is advancing unified communications and contact centre solutions through AI-based automation and real-time analytics. In addition, it enhances cybersecurity with AI-supported solutions for detecting and defending against threats.
