Healthcare and retail industries in focus
Damovo Germany reports a revenue growth of over ten percent for the past fiscal year 2021/2022 compared to the same period last year, continuing the positive business development of recent years. ‘Even in the pandemic years, there was no slowdown. This confirms our strategic direction of relying on a broad-based, modern solution portfolio with strong partners and positioning ourselves as a company with agile teams that is future-proof and flexible,’ says Karl-Heinz Sänger, Managing Director Central Europe.
Award for digitalised onboarding process
With more than 50 new hires in the Central Region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland) alone, the number of employees in this region has increased to over 400. In order to integrate the new specialists well into the company from the outset, despite a pandemic-hit, heavily virtual working environment, Damovo Germany has fundamentally revised and digitalised its onboarding process. The company was honoured for this with the HR Excellence Award 2021 in the ‘Onboarding’ category. The HR Excellence Awards are presented by Quadriga, an educational institution in Berlin, and Human Resources Manager, a trade magazine covering key topics in human resource management. Today, more than 300 of the 650+ employees of the Damovo Group worldwide work in Germany.
Secure communications solutions for the hybrid workplace
For the new fiscal year, which begins in February, Damovo expects further major business potential, including in industry-specific services. Sänger: ‘In the healthcare and retail markets in particular, we want to position ourselves even more strongly as a trusted, vendor-independent partner and further expand our consulting business. The aim is to bring more digitalisation to the markets, for example with service-oriented patient portals or infotainment systems.’
Sänger expects demand for secure solutions for the digitalisation of the working world to remain high this year. He sees the solution areas of unified communications & collaboration, contact centres, enterprise networks and security as drivers: ‘The hybrid workplace is here. For our customers, it is now a matter of making it secure with integrated communication solutions for teamwork and customer contact.’
As an ICT service provider and sparring partner, Damovo advises its customers individually, with a 360-degree view, designs and implements solution packages and supports companies in the long term in the further development of their IT infrastructures and networks.
