ICT service provider thrives despite crises
Damovo Germany is recording solid revenue growth and a significant increase in Damovo’s internal business share in the focus areas of security (growth to around 7 percent) and enterprise networks (growth to 30 percent). Karl-Heinz Sänger, Managing Director Central Europe, draws a positive balance for the past fiscal year 2022/2023: ‘Demand for secure network infrastructures and communication solutions that further digitise and flexibilise the working environment remains high. In addition, companies are still increasingly looking for security solutions that can be fully embedded in the strategic direction of their organisation. These developments were key business drivers for us.’
Cloud solutions continue to grow
For the new financial year, which started for Damovo in February, Sänger expects further growth in the solution areas of Enterprise Networks, Security, Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) and Contact Centres. Damovo expects further digitalisation, particularly in the areas of Contact Centres and UCC. Many customers are currently moving from existing on-premise to cloud solutions. Digital transformation is taking place across all industries in companies that want to make their communication more flexible, cast ad hoc measures into fixed structures and establish them across the organisation.
Sustainability: Making progress measurable
In addition, according to Sänger, the topic of sustainability will continue to shape the markets: ‘Sustainability plays an important role for our customers, but also for us as a company and business partner. We want to continue to be involved here. That is why there are already numerous initiatives that make our sustainability approaches in their many different forms comprehensible and measurable.’
As a basis for this, Damovo has anchored the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations in its corporate guidelines, including, for example, decent work and economic growth, reduced inequalities, and sustainable consumption and production patterns. By committing to these goals, Damovo is consistently working to achieve them.
TOP Service Deutschland: Award for customer focus and service quality
In 2022, Damovo was once again ranked among the top ten B2B companies in the TOP Service Deutschland competition. Dagmar Nies, former Vice President Group Marketing & Strategic Alliances at Damovo: ‘The award for our customer and service-oriented approach encourages us to continue along the new paths we have taken in customer dialogue, but also in internal processes such as onboarding.’
Sänger adds: ‘Even though bottlenecks in the procurement of raw materials and other supplies, delays in the supply chain and the shortage of skilled workers continue to keep us on our toes, we are emerging stronger from the crisis-ridden last year. We owe this to our employees and strategic partners, their commitment and expertise.’
