Simplifying asset management via cloud-based service platform
International ICT service provider Damovo is supporting German toy manufacturer Schleich GmbH with comprehensive managed services for the administration and operation of Cisco Meraki network devices. With its ‘Damovo Meraki as a Service’ (DMaaS) solution, the Düsseldorf-based IT company offers comprehensive 24/7 services and clearly defined service modules that users can easily utilise.

Management and monitoring of more than 400 assets
Damovo manages the complete administration of over 400 assets in Schleich’s Cisco Meraki network. This includes routers, switches, other devices, and ports. All IT service management processes are handled through Damovo’s cloud-based Service Plaza platform. This covers setting up, managing, updating, and replacing hardware and software, implementing configuration changes, and performing proactive events and incident management. Automatic updates, which are standard with Meraki, are installed gradually and in a controlled manner according to clearly defined rules.
Self-service portal for maximum flexibility
Schleich can independently make minor adjustments to the company network via the operations portal, while larger projects are fully handled by Damovo. All changes and incidents in the production environment are documented in the operations portal, enabling Schleich to automate and standardise numerous processes across all locations
