Integrated alerting systems for the healthcare sector
Damovo Schweiz AG and Electropol AG are cooperating on telephony and alerting systems for the healthcare sector. With this partnership, the Swiss subsidiary of ICT service provider Damovo is further expanding its strong market position in the healthcare sector. Damovo already serves more than 100 companies in the healthcare sector. ‘With Electropol, we have gained an experienced partner for emergency call systems. In conjunction with our UCC solutions, we offer hospitals, care homes, nursing homes and other institutions in the healthcare industry modern communication solutions that are specifically tailored to their requirements. This enables our customers to increase the safety of patients and staff,’ says Jörg Säurich, Sales Director, Damovo Switzerland.
Call and location systems increase the level of security for patients and staff
Depending on their requirements, hospitals and care homes can choose from a wide range of security systems. These include, for example, call and location systems, wandering alert systems for dementia patients, and alerting solutions in the event of a fall or other emergency situation involving patients or staff. The call signals are sent directly to the mobile devices of hospital and care staff, which are usually integrated into a DECT infrastructure. Depending on the response, they escalate through further security levels. Mobile emergency call systems record who has raised a call from which location. This enables those responsible to react quickly and appropriately to the situation.
Daniel Achermann, Managing Director of Electropol AG: ‘In an emergency situation, every minute counts. Together with Damovo, we ensure seamless integration of telephony and alerting systems so that alerts are raised quickly and in a targeted manner.’
