International ICT service provider Damovo has appointed Mara Mandera (42) as Group Director People & Culture.

In this role, Mandera will further develop the People & Culture strategy, with a focus on shaping the corporate culture under the guiding principle ‘One Damovo’. She has been working in Human Resources for 16 years and has in-depth expertise in HR strategy, organisational structure and talent management.
‘My top priority is to harmonise and further develop our People & Culture processes and offerings across all countries. I am delighted to now be able to apply the expertise I have gained to date at Damovo,’ said Mandera.
Growth and transformation at Damovo
As Group Director People & Culture, Mandera’s goal is to establish a sustainable corporate culture, to drive growth and transformation and to promote a learning culture. Mandera: ‘We will achieve this by offering attractive development opportunities for employees and placing a stronger focus on equality, diversity and inclusion.’ She also plans to strengthen engagement and realign the leadership culture to increase employee loyalty to Damovo. Her other areas of expertise include changing organisational structures and integrating new companies.
Many years of HR expertise in Germany, Spain and Europe
Mandera was employed by DuPont from 2008 to 2015, and then by Axalta Coating Systems in Spain and Germany. During this time, she worked as an HR team leader and HR project manager, among other roles. She then moved to TÜV Rheinland in Cologne, where she most recently held the position of HR Director Europe. In this role, she was responsible for 20 countries as head of the European HR team. Mandera studied economics in Bochum and Oviedo, Spain.
