Damovo, the international ICT service provider, has appointed Michal Burda (45) as the new Managing Director of its Polish subsidiary in Warsaw. In this role, he will drive forward the expansion of projects and cloud migration in the contact centre sector, implementing new mechanisms using generative artificial intelligence. Burda has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry.
‘I am proud to be joining such a dynamic team. My goal is to further expand the Polish subsidiary and make acquisitions in the coming years that complement Damovo’s global business and achieve synergies,’ said Burda.
Consolidating Damovo’s expertise in Poland
As Managing Director, he aims to increase revenue in the area of integration services and establish Damovo as a cybersecurity service provider in the Polish market. He also plans to expand the Polish subsidiary’s involvement in projects for the global Damovo Group.
Many years of business and IT expertise
Burda has held a number of management positions at national and regional level. He is experienced in business development, strategic project management and IT architecture. For the last two years, he has headed the Polish subsidiary of the US IT consulting firm DXC Technology. Before that, he spent 16 years as Vice President Consulting Services and Head of Insurance and Banking Sector for Poland, Lithuania and Latvia at the Polish branch of the Canadian IT service provider CGI. Burda is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Warsaw University of Information Technology.
